Product Overview

Compared to previous Galaxy Z Fold models, the Galaxy Z Fold7 features an advanced Armor Aluminum frame that excludes the volume and side keys, SIM tray, and camera lens barrel. The front of the device is protected by Corning® Gorilla® Glass Ceramic 2, while the rear uses Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus® 2. Notably, the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 have not undergone scratch resistance testing. Performance improvements in the application processor (AP) are compared to the Galaxy Z Fold6, though actual results may vary based on user environment, conditions, and pre-installed apps. Battery life also varies depending on network environment, app usage, call and message frequency, charging habits, and other factors. Battery performance was independently assessed by UX Connect Research between June 12–20, 2025, in the U.S. using pre-release versions of the SM-F966 under default settings with LTE and 5G Sub6 networks, excluding 5G mmWave. The typical battery value was determined under third-party lab conditions, with a rated capacity of 4,272 mAh for the Galaxy Z Fold7. Certain AI features may require a Samsung account login, and Samsung makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI outputs. Availability of Galaxy AI features may vary by region, OS/One UI version, device model, and carrier, and these features will be provided for free on supported devices until the end of 2025. Different terms may apply to third-party AI features, and usage of Galaxy AI may be restricted for minors in some regions due to age limitations.
